He's the founding principal and design manager of SCDA Architects Pte Ltd, a multi-disciplinary organization engaging in the practice of Architecture, Interior, Landscape and Product Design. Soo obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Washington College and Master of Architecture degree at Yale College.
Soo was the recipient of the inaugural President's Design Award, Singapore Designer of the Season and also the recipient of the SIA-Getz Architecture Prize for Emergent Architecture in Asia, 2006. The training was recognized as one of many Design Vanguard companies, changing the Face of Architecture by Architectural Record USA. SCDA was given the Royal Institute of British Architects Global Award for the Lincoln Modern in 2003, and also the recipient of nine Chicago Athenaeum International Architecture Award.
